| The National Poliovirus Laboratory of Greece |
|
| The National Poliovirus Laboratory of Greece was established in 1995. It has been a member of the WHO network of national reference laboratories.It has been responsible for the virological confirmation of the eradication of poliomyelitis in Greece. It is mow over 10 years since the last case of poliomyelitis was detected in Greece. The laboratory results are reported monthly of WHO. The laboratory has been participating in the proficiency testing and laboratory accreditation organized annually by WHO. |
